MEET OUR PLAYWRIGHTS
James is a member of the Nylon Fusion Theatre Company in New York. His plays have been produced or developed at theaters across America and around the world including the O’Neill National Playwrights Conference (selection and six-time semifinalist), Lark, PlayPenn, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, hotINK Festival, Irish Repertory, CAP21, Samuel French Festival, Victory Gardens, Hudson Stage Company, Abingdon, New Repertory, Lyric Stage, Detroit Rep, Great Plains Theatre Conference, Seven Devils, Telluride Playwrights Festival, Ashland New Plays Festival, Boston Playwrights Theatre, Colony Theatre, Theatricum Botanicum, Circus Theatricals, and Arkansas Rep. They have been published by Dramatic Publishing, Smith & Kraus, Applause Books, and Original Works Publishing.
Ken Preuss is a writer and performer who became a teacher to guarantee an audience 5 days a week. Although his one-acts and short plays have been produced in festivals and schools in Australia, Canada, China, England, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, and 48 of 50 States, Ken is rooted near Orlando, Florida with his wife, sons, and a few too many pets.
Tiffa Foster is a new playwright living in Saint Paul, MN. She wrote her very first play in February 2019 and since then has had several of her plays performed in London, Washington State, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. It's a lot of fun and she has met so many wonderful people along the way. She loves to wonder about why things are the way they are and how they could be different. She hopes you are healthy and happy.
Ron Rosenfeld is the author of four full-length plays and numerous one-act/short plays. His works explore the interface between science, religion, faith and ethics. His plays have been produced in California, New York, Europe and Asia. He can be reached at ronsplays@yahoo.com.
In the Chicago theatre community Scott Carter Cooper has worked as a producer, writer, director, actor, and singer for some of the most prominent companies, including Steppenwolf, The Lyric Opera of Chicago, Theo Ubique, Trap Door, CityLit, Circle Theater, Center Theatre, Bailiwick Repertory, and many other small storefront theatres. His plays are intended for small professional companies with diverse ensembles looking for economical productions and have been presented internationally in Canada, the UK, Germany, China, Japan, and India and domestically in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Miami, Bismarck, ND, and Eden Prairie, MN. In 2018, the premiere season of Flash Radio Theatre, a podseries, debuted featuring recordings of six of his short works. The second season, titled The Morning Glory Stories, was released in January 2020.
